I purchased an older PowerBook G4 from a friend a few years ago specifically to become more familiar with the OS X operating system. It was arguably the best computing decision I've ever made. I'm a strong follower of Intel and NVidia, so having both packaged together with a Unix-based operating system was a hard thing to pass up. ![]() There were a couple of things driving my decision, namely the fact that Apple switched to Intel CPU's (instead of PowerPC) and NVidia Video controller's (instead of ATI).
